标题: 求助：EDIFF和EDIFFG参数选择
目前在写INCAR 的时候，发现EDIFFG有正负。目前搜索到的帖子都只是说了EDIFF和EDIFFG比较深奥的意思，但是对于小白来说，涉及具体的案例，比如bulk优化，某一晶面如111等优化，什么时候

参数是正值，什么时候是负值，不是很清楚。

所以想请教一下大家，针对于bulk优化，某一晶面如111等优化，正负值该如何选择？谢谢

手册6.19应当说明比较详细：
EDIFFG>0: If the change in the total (free) energy is smaller than EDIFFG between two ionic steps relaxation will be stopped.
EDIFFG<0: In this case the relaxation will stop if all forces are smaller than | EDIFFG |.
EDIFFG=0: In this case the ionic relaxation is stopped after NSW steps.
原则上采用正或负都可以，总是可以设定一个人为监测另一个，通常还是力收敛用的多一些。
